Technology Leadership Contributions:

 

  • Lead for designing and implementing of the HMIS for Zulekha Hospitals. A hands-on professional, he was instrumental in the 24-month implementation from the onset at both multi-specialty hospitals in Dubai and Sharjah. HMIS module was soon augmented with access for the four medical centers thereby completely integrating the Zulekha Healthcare Group in a single seamless network.

 

  • Implement a custom-designed IT Infrastructure in 2005 that complemented and catered to the total healthcare needs of Zulekha Healthcare Group.

 

  • Lead the core of designing and implementing the paperless ‘Intranet’ solution for both multi-specialty facilities at Dubai and Sharjah and also a website for patient’s to know more about hospital and events, to book an online appointment, to view online patient’s reports.

 

  • Implemented power management software to save energy and less carbon emission and also started project like E-data, PC power management, E-waste management, usage of Echo friendly IT products.

 

  • Web based HMIS was successfully implemented for fast and easy access to information even from tablets and mobile phones.

 

  • Devised unique helpdesk solution that elevated call close rate 90% faster.

 

  • Cut Licensing costs 40%+ with strategic forecasts and negotiations for enterprise-level agreements.

 

  • Zulekha Health Care Group IT is the 1st in UAE to receive ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 for IT Service Management in Healthcare.
